OUR COMMUNICATION

Our Community

COMMUNICATIONS

They are many ways Home - School Communications take place in St Anne’s. These  “channels/avenues/means/” help school life run smoothly with families sharing in students’ learning, class updates and school events. They vary from our yearly student conferences to informal chats in the school yard. If you have any queries about communications please contact the office.

INFORMATION SHARING

Weekly E-Newsletter

Emailed every Friday to families that includes weekly news around the school, acknowledged students who have received awards and reminders for the upcoming events in the community.

Skoolbag App

A mobile App that communicates alerts to parent and subscribers as a reminder of events, last minute change of plans, and e-forms for submission. It also has a calendar of school’s events.

If your child is absent you are able to alert teachers and admin staff through the e-form on the app. We encourage all parents to download the app when their child joins the school.

Seesaw App

An electronic portfolio enabling students' work and participation in school life to be shared at home through a laptop or device such as a phone or tablet.

Information Nights

Held throughout the year to assist in keeping parents informed on transition programs for foundation and year 6 students, curriculum learning, preparation for sacraments and student wellbeing.

Assembly

Held in the multi purpose hall every Tuesday morning at 9am and run by our student leaders to celebrate school achievements and share weekly news.

Parents are welcome to attend Assembly each week, which is a real privilege. In witnessing this snapshot of school life, it is immediately evident that the children know everyone else at St Anne’s, enjoy celebrating achievements of their peers and have genuine affection for each other.  (Richard - Parent)
